Joshua David "Bubs" LaWall's Obituary
Joshua David “Bubs” LaWall, of Tacoma, passed away at Tacoma General on December 1, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Josh was born January 13, 1975 in Seattle, WA to Daniel and Shirley LaWall. He attended Foster High School in Tukwila where he played football and was on the wrestling team where he met many life-long friends.
After High School, he worked as an outside machinist at Vigor (previously known as Todd Shipyard) for over 20 years. He took pride in his job and worked hard to get things done.
Josh enjoyed fishing and had lots of stories to tell about his catch and release. He also enjoyed dirt bike riding and shared this passion with his brother and many friends. Josh was a gentle giant with a loving caring heart and will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; daughter, Olivia; and his son Layton “porkchop”; he is the loving son of Daniel and Shirley LaWall; and loyal brother to Daniel J.M. LaWall.
The family would like to thank his coworkers for all the support and love they gave our son and family. Special thanks to the med staff on 5th floor, Team 1, our Angels on Earth.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Josh on January 14, 2018, at the Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Ave South, Tukwila, WA at 2:00 pm.
