Josephine M. Adams' Obituary
Josephine M. Adams died peacefully at home on January 10, 2016 in Tacoma, WA after spending a wonderful day with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren visiting and watching the Seahawks game. She was 100 years old. Josephine was born on October 25, 1915 in Honolulu, HI. She attended UCLA before she married Royce Adams on July 24, 1935. The Adams were a military family and lived in Hawaii, Ohio, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Germany before they moved to Tacoma.
Josephine was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was an accomplished singer and dancer in her younger years.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Hiles of Lakewood, WA ; her Brother Eddie Urbanski of Gun Barrel, TX; Grandson John Hiles (Kim); Granddaughter Melani Amaris (Linda); Granddaughter Marlea Hiles (Todd); Grandson; Bret Hiles (Julie); Granddaughter Marlo Adams; Great Grandson Colton Hiles (Mackenzie); Great Grandson Joey Bowler; Great Grandson Wyatt Royce Hiles and Great Granddaughter Reagan Piper Albright. Marie Godfrey a special daughter and Kim Knoll a special granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Royce and her son Royce Jr.
