I ca not say enough for Dr Joesph Worrals outstanding and genuine medical care I received from him in 1981. Highly recommended by a neihbor in Nenana, Alaska. I was quite sick and Dr Worral saw me. Immediately
He had pathology check for what I thought was a miscarriage
It ended up within two days to be 4th stage advance cancer. He called Seattle on the same day and set me up with the best doctor at Virgina Mason & Univ of Washington. I had a tumor removed, bilateral hysterectomy and lymph nodes checked. Through a foundation DR Worral had me flown to Seattle and the doctor saw me within 3 days. Sooty to hear of his passing
Pray for his family and hope the lord has wrapped his arms around him for all he has done for others. Blessings

Al and Mary were among the first friends my wife and I had when we moved to Fairbanks from Juneau in 1981. Why? Because I had gotten to know him via ham radio... Morse code! I'll never forget his callsign, KL7T. He and Mary invited us to their place several times and helped us feel at home. Years later, in 2002, in his typically compassionate way, he was instrumental in diagnosing my wife with ovarian cancer, from which she passed away in 2005. He seemed to me a man easy to respect, quiet in manner and considered in all he did. He was one of those people with many layers with some of them surprising
and all of them interesting. I always saw him listen more than he spoke, with calm far seeing eyes that revealed the many cogs of thought that ran behind them. He never blew his own horn, his honest practiced days and fulfilled life blew it for him. He lived his life with courage and purpose to the end. I am a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner and worked with Dr. Worrall in the last years of his career...together we made up the mini OBGyn department at Fairbanks Clinic. He provided wonderful professional support to me, stayed up to date on all the latest medical findings, and was always willing to go the extra mile for our patients. He was a great physician, and provided years of excellent care. Our prayers, Marjorie Allan and family.
