Joseph William Kuljis' Obituary
Joe left us before his time here was up; he had a lot more living to do. Anyone who had the good fortune to know him was very lucky. He left everyone with a little bit of himself; he lived and played hard.Anything Joe was involved with, he did with intense passion; this included caring for his alligator, Buddy, and other exotic pets.Joe loved being outdoors and near water. The beach cabin on Maury Island and Pikes Place Market were favorites. Point Defiance Park brought him special joy. He had a great fondness for Owen Beach. Gardening was one of his hobbies, with his back yard as his canvas. He was proud of his plants.Joe was also the ultimate science fiction fan. He loved to cookÂ...the hotter the better. One of his best friends was his grandma Dee. They had a wonderful relationship. She thought he was the best thing ever created, and now they will be joined again.Joe leaves many people behind: his beloved wife and best friend, Kim, who was always there for him and believed in him; their children Hailley, 4, and Lorenzo, 1; his mother and father-in-law; and great friends Ossie and Joe Balmores. JoeÂ's mom, Lois, and stepfather, Â"Daddy AndyÂ" Piercy. Together they enjoyed Seaside, Ocean Shores, running racesÂ...but most of all love for each other. JoeÂ's father, Joe Kuljis (Pam), loved him and will miss him very much. Brother, Bill Stecker (Cynthia). Joe and Bill were close and enjoyed being together. Brothers Robert and Thomas Kuljis. They were always there for each other.Daughter Samantha Miller Estes, 14.
