Joseph H. Spiegner Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph H. Spiegner Jr. was called home to join his parents, sister, niece Mercedes, nephew Elijah, and other family who have prepared his way in the hallways of heaven. We know that he won't hesitate to start his own Heavenly ping pong or tennis team soon.
Joseph Spiegner, Jr. Was the oldest of six siblings and the only boy. He was a born leader. He was boisterous and jovial and kept us all in tears with his jokes and brutal honesty. His laughter was contagious.
Joseph served in the US Army and was a military trainer. He travelled all over the world with the US Army. Joseph was also a member of his tenant board in his community and was a reigning ping pong and tennis champion as well.
Joseph is survived by his three children, Tiffany Putnam, Joey Freelove, and James Freelove; granddaughter, Stephanie Putnam; four sisters, Genovia Spiegner, Brenda Brewster, Carolyn (Will) Batson-Riley, and Gwen (Frederick) Cooper; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Henry Spiegner, Sr., his mother, Elizabeth Spiegner, and his sister, Sandra K. Crittendon.
