I just learned about Joe...I have such wonderful memories of my work with him. I met him through Cherie Smith (Winney). I was a young police officer and was recently elected to our Seattle Police Guild (union). I was trying to understand the Labor and Industries system, well Joe was a great mentor and a friend to injured workers. I went to Olympia with him and also became apart of his injured workers group...then I became and injured worker. Joe was instrumental in giving me the support and his knowledge that I was able to eventually help get a bill passed that helped all injured police officers in the State of Washington. I know Cheri and I will always think of him fondly and as a great crusader. Gone but not forgotten....##imported-begin##Joy Mundy##imported-end##
