Josefine V. Jones' Obituary
Born March 19, 1930 in Munich, Germany; passed away December 21, 2003 in Lakewood, WA at the age of 73, following a long illness.Josefine worked at Western State Hospital for 25 years as an LPN. She was respected by co-workers and loved by all who knew her. Josefine enjoyed cooking for her family, was an experienced seamstress, and loved gardening and flowers. Josefine traveled extensively, often taking her children and grandchildren. She always put others before herself and will be greatly missed.She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Charles Jones; 1 daughter, Jutta Colvin (James); 2 sons, Charles J. Jones, Jr. (Jerii) and Harry Jones (Kara); 8 grandchildren, Lamont Bush, Christopher Bush, Maria Jones, Jennifer Jones, Peter Jones, Christina Newton, Elizabeth Jones and Bethany Jones; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Hildegard Walter of Germany. Viewing will be Mt. View Funeral Home, Friday, December 26, 2003 from 12 PM until 9 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Mt. View Valley Chapel, followed by graveside services and a reception.
