José was in my choirs at lakes High School; probably the best tenor I ever taught. I so enjoyed his sense of humor, even when it was unleashed on the altos in front of him. Jose you were like a father to me during one of the hardest times of my life. I could never Thank you and Joe enough for welcoming me into your home and letting me tag along on so many adventures. Almost all my best childhood memories took place in your home with you and Brian, Carmen and Joe. To this day I try to emulate your natural charisma and jovial attitude.
While who knows how many will mourne your passing atleast we can all take heart in knowing that when our time comes all we have to do is listen for the strum of a guitar.The smell of good food. And a crowd of laughter. To know we are in the right place to rest in paradise.

I knew Jose in high school. He was always warm and welcoming. We danced together in the Lancer Dancers and had a lot of fun. He looked good in those Lederhosen!! Your smile and musical talent will be missed by many! Prayers for his family.

I remember not being able to drive and he would give me rides home until I got my license and I returned the favor, I always loved talking and being around Jose he gave me such good advice and listened to problems that I had in life! He would be very involved with my family and uplifting towards everyone around him! When I got my car and told him how much I liked it him and his wife went and got the same car but the premium one and he made sure to tell me and get a laugh out of it! He was so funny and positive to be around and I won't ever forget what he's done for me and I'm family🕊️❤

I met Jose almost 24 years ago at Pierce Transit and we have remained friends ever since! I enjoyed our conversations at our favorite watering hole😂! He was a true friend ! I love you Jose and you will be greatly missed!!!
