Jonte’ Antone Tiquez Douglas-Loveless
Jonte’ Douglas-Loveless was born in Lakewood, Washington to Plishette Douglas and JT Loveless on June 26, 1993. After a five month battle of stage 4 Sarcoma Cancer, he passed away on December 18, 2014, at the early age of 21 years old.
Jonte’ attended Todd Beamer High School and Highline Puget Sound Skill Center graduating with the class of 2011. He worked at Home Depot and also Lowe’s Home Improvement until his diagnosis.
At an early age, Jonte’ was known as the “crusher” on the football field and continued playing in high school. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends. Jonte’ had a personal interest in X-Box gaming with his much known gamer names of “driller and dramatic”. He loved cooking and telling jokes which kept a smile on everyone’s face he came in contact with. His special gift and passion for arts and design, included his very own custom tattoos. Jonte’ also enjoyed bowling, fishing, and gardening with his grandfather and family. During his sickness when he was asked how he was doing, his response would consistently be “I’m doing alright, quit trippin”. Jonte’s three Christmas wishes were “10 million dollars, a lifetime supply of fresh drawls and socks, and being cancer free for the rest of his life”. He was loving, kind, thoughtful and will be missed tremendously.
Jonte’ was survived by his mother Plishette Douglas, father JT Loveless, and stepmother Annessa Loveless. Grandparents Paulette Cranshaw, (deceased Calvin), Sharon Bryant, (deceased Theodore Loveless), Henrietta and Thomas Mitchell. Sisters Bryshette and Jayah, Brothers; J.Trell, Jordan, Janyus and Jayden.
Jonte’ was also survived by aunts Plishica Douglas, Rashawn Loveless, Paris and Paradise Ramsey; Great Uncle Paul Douglas, Uncle William Hughes and first born cousin and best friend Alon Hampton, and cousin Rayonna Loveless.
His loving extended family consists of Sonji Wilson, Myesha Mitchell, Lanesha Coney, Roxanne Smoot, Robert Williams, Jermaine Satterwhite, Kendell Mitchell, Adrell Mitchell, Elisha Marcus, Rodney Hebert, Treyvon Wilson, Kevin Watkins and many more not mentioned.
