Jonathan Munoz-Castro's Obituary
On July 31st, 2021 our whole world was shattered when Jonathan Munoz-Castro, unexpectedly left us to eternally be at rest. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and best friend. His family and friends, celebrate his life and thank God for giving us his final moments to say goodbye.
Jonathan was born August 9th, 1992 in Acapulco, Guerrero. In 1996, he and his family moved to Lakewood, Washington, where he was raised and grew up. After he spent his childhood and teenage years in the Lakewood and Tacoma areas, with his mother Maribel Castro-Salas, his father Marcelo Munoz-Valeriano, and his 3 sisters, Nayeli, Leslie, and Ivette. He was always a free spirited teenager, who enjoyed to live his life to the fullest.
Though he was young, at the age of 19 he met his wife, Rosa Munoz-Espinoza. He then moved to Seattle, Washington, where he spent the last decade of his life at her side. They built a life together, and shared two boys, his firstborn being, Luis “Lalo” Munoz, and his junior, Jonathan “Johnny” Munoz. Jonathan was a strong spirit with a high vibrant energy, that is impossible to forget. He filled the room with his smile, and joined people together with his personality. He lived for family, for celebrations and most of all for his children. He was a hardworking man , he may have played hard but worked harder even up until his last day. He was the life of all parties and family events. His presence will always be carried on through those he loved most, and all the memories will forever remain so vividly with us. Jonathan was a man, you could not forget, you could not love or not become his friend even if you wanted to. Though the flesh may have died, his spirit lives on forever through those who got the chance to ever meet him.
