Jon Edwin Theodore Swenson, age 65, passed away on February 12, 2026.
Jon was born on December 30, 1960, in Chehalis, Wa. He grew up in Bellevue, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed the steady, thoughtful character that would define him throughout his life.
He pursued his higher education at Western Washington University in Bellingham and The Evergreen State College in Olympia. Jon built a career as a skilled computer technician, working for the State of Washington and later serving Western Washington casinos. He was known for his reliability, technical expertise, and quiet dedication to his work.
Jon most recently resided in Renton, where he continued to live a life marked by independence and integrity. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Swenson (March 2013) and Carol Swenson (December 2013), as well as his older sister, Sally Linea Swenson Wikoff, who passed in 2015.
Jon is survived by his older brother, David Swenson of Encinitas, CA., and his older sister, Jean Suzanne Swenson of Seattle. He is remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. A memorial for Jon is located at Mountain View Memorial Park in Tacoma, where he rests alongside his sister Sally and his parents.
Jon's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
