Johnny Ray Dotson
MAY 7, 1951 to June 17, 2013
Born on May 7, 1951 to his parents Earl Dotson and Lula Mae Howard. He was one of the 15 children born to them.
He attended Peabody High School and Bates Technical College, after he graduated, he began his career as a semi-truck driver. While in the Air Force, he earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He retired after serving 21 years.
He lived in Poland, LA. Alexandria, LA. and Tacoma, WA. He married Teresita A. Parcasio , March 23, 1983, at La Union Phil. She is the daughter of Jacinto and Esperanza Parcasio.
He served in the Air Force until 1991, were he reached E-6. He was a member of the Daughter of Zion Baptist Church. He also enjoyed Bass fishing and gardening. Bobby Womack was a favorite song. His special friends were Gary Gray, Sr. and Tony Martin.
Johnny will be remembered as generous and inviting. He will be missed.
