John Paul Witt II's Obituary
John Paul Witt II of Vancouver, WA passed away on February 13, 2019 date at the age of 44.
John (aka JP) was born August 25, 1974, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; the first child of both John Thomas Witt and Roschell Holland. He was named after his Grandfather with whom John had pride in his World War II service and medals. His sister Harmony, brother Cody and brother Dylan came along years later as John's families grew. John was energetic and daring as a child. John and his parents lived in both the United States and Germany, along for the ride on his father's military tours. At the age of 7, "Grandpa Jim" came into John's life. Jim was an incredibly important father figure his entire life. No matter where John lived he collected lifelong friends. He was up for every challenge big or small. He was the center of attention and he was loved for that. In Wisconsin, he met the love of his life, Courtney. Together with their dear friends, they moved to Texas where they experienced all the joy of young love. Just as he did in his childhood, John and Courtney lived mostly in Washington and Wisconsin. They got married on a disc golf course and their next chapter was as parents when their beautiful daughter Emily blessed their lives. Then in the blink of an eye, they expanded their family with their wild child Ethan. John was always so proud of his children and loved them with his whole heart. He had a special bond with Emily from the moment she was born, she was the apple of his eye. He cherished his time with Ethan, especially skateboarding. They took turns breaking bones to prove who was more daring. It was important to John to work hard and provide for his family, and he did just that. John was always there to help friends in need and he was the life of every party. He was a Seahawks fan; he was funny, strong, loving, stubborn, smart, competitive, loyal and he loved adventure. He was loved and will be missed dearly.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents and Uncle Paul Witt, Uncle Rick Meyer and Aunt Ranee Meyer. He is survived by his dear family friend James Walter, parents John Thomas Witt (Celeste), Roschell Holland (Kevin), siblings Harmony Radke, Cody Witt (Elizabeth) and Dylan Holland (Kelsey), his wife Courtney, and his beautiful children Emily and Ethan.
