John William Webster's Obituary
Born June 11, 1945 in Chesterhill, Ohio to Viola Margeritte Medley and Fred Carroll Webster, and died in Panama City, Panama, of natural causes on Thursday, June 30, 2005. A Tacoma resident for more than 27 years, Ret. MSgt John William Webster grew up in Marietta, Ohio, where he started his Journey in life. Graduating from Marietta High School in 1963, John soon joined the United States Air Force where he spent the next 26 years of his life protecting our freedom. Soon after his first retirement, he dedicated himself to a career as a Para Professional with the Tacoma School District. He inspired students and teachers alike. His many interests included his family, baseball, basketball, and traveling. He was also club or association member of South Side Baptist Church, the Elks, WWIA, ASA, NSA, USSSA, and WWBA. Ret. MSgt. John William Webster is survived by his wife Cleoveth Webster of Tacoma, WA; six siblings: Sandra Brown, Robert Webster, Margrette South, Marcia Brown, Janice Cline, and Mary Lou Patterson; his children, KariAnn and Thomas Mullan of Queensberry, New York, Zoraya Webster of St. Paul, Minnesota, Jennifer and Porn Smith of Spanaway, WA, and his only son John and Dolores Webster of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren Kristian, Tyler, Kyle Mullan, and Tianalyn and John Webster; and lastly his loving pets Princess and Coco.A celebration of life for Ret. MSgt John William Webster will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at South Side Baptist Church located at 626 South 86th St.Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, and until the service on Thursday at Mountain View Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Mt. View Memorial Park.
