John David Webber's Obituary
JOHN David Webber came into this world on August 26, 1978.
His mission in life was to constantly amaze his sister, Kimberly, and his brothers, Larry, and Michael. Not to mention, his mother, Marie Moren, and his father, Larry Webber. Also his step father, Jim Hornbuckle, and step mothers Helen Ness Webber, and Georgene Webber. And yes, to amaze each of you as well.
Upon leaving high school, as a junior, he went to work for NAPA Auto Parts, becoming their favorite delivery driver, and earning the nickname, Bones. He later went on to work for Tacoma Guitar. After that, the Tacoma Sportsman Club. And then as an installer for CLIC Cable. During that time, he began feeling the painful affects of Crohn's Disease, and under went two major surgeries, in 2004. From there, he spent the next 10 years taking every kind of treatment for this debilitating disease. Finally, he just resigned to the pain, as best he knew how to.
John's passion was film! He was born a film director. He always had a camera in his hands, or at least close by. He started his career in the film industry, as "an extra", in "Ten Things I Hate About You", then a film about the life of Curt Cobain, and finally in Stephen King's "Rose Red".
He had to lay his career down, in 2004, due to the chronic fatigue and pain he experienced. It broke his heart !
It was his love for his family and friends that kept him going. You were the ones who lit up his world. And he will alwys be thankful for you being in his life !
He fulfilled his mission on earth. He ran his race well, to the finish. He's won the race, and is enjoying his Reward !
Mission Accomplished
John returned to The Mission Control Center, on April 21, 2016.
