John W. Hutson, born March 9, 1918 in Covington, IN, passed away Sept. 4, 2006 in Lacey, WA. John was a retired Chief Warrant Officer from the US Air Force, where he proudly served for 22 years active duty, and 5 years in the reserves, which included WWII and two tours of duty in Korea.John was preceded in death by brothers, Wesley, James, and Kenneth, sister, Alma Adams, son, John D. Hutson, and daughter, Elinor Brumfield. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elinor Hutson, his children, Clifford (Lillian) Ballard, Susan (Steve) MacDonald, and Laura Cook, his grandchildren, Tom, Sarah, Dena, Brenda, Jim, Joe, Sabrena, Samantha, Jesse and Alex, 17 great-grandchildren, and his sisters, Mary Potter, and Martha Swaney.John filled our hearts with love, laughter, support and guidance. Visitation will be held from 8:30 Â- 10:15 AM, prior to the graveside service at 10:30 AM Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
