JOHN ALBERT VANDENBERG
John Albert Vandenberg 66 of Tacoma was called home to our Lord on May 15, 2014. He was born on September 15, 1947 in Tacoma, Washington where he spent most of his life. Following Johns graduation from Lincoln High School in 1965, he joined the United States Air Force in 1966. He served honorably in Vietnam and completed his service at McChord A.F.B. in 1970. After his discharge he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and then a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. He retired after 32 years working for the Veterans Administration. He enjoyed Cooking, Shakespearian Plays, Fine Arts and was an avid Sports Fan.
He is survived by his Mother Lucille Kay, brothers: Ed and Ken, sister: Lisa and beloved Nieces and Nephews.
