John Robert Ogden's Obituary
John Robert Ogden, 70, passed away February 8, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. He was born on January 13, 1944 in Tacoma to Delvin Jay and Margaret (Russell) Ogden.
John served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked as a Civil Service Police Officer in the Naval Shipyards. After retiring, he continued to work for the U.S. Government at Ft. Lewis in their Motor Pool Division.
John loved his church the New Apostalic Church whom he served faithfully. He was very proud of his Scottish heritage and his military service both active and as a Civil Servant.
He is survived by his loving wife Karen; son Robert (Teresa) Ogden; step-daughter Linda (Bob) Mickey; three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.
A private family service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery at a later date.
