John Jacob Nelson's Obituary
John Jacob Nelson (July 13, 1943 -September 6, 2018) was born to James and Mary Nelson and spent most of his youth growing up on Greenlake in Seattle and investigated every inch of the area many times. He went on to college and then an airline career. He worked many jobs during this time including station agent operations and weather. He also spent time as a catering coordinator and mail messenger, but his favorite position was a flight attendant for Alaskan Airlines. He loved his many years flying to Alaska and the wonderful people he met. John and his soulmate were married for forty-nine years and enjoyed every day of their lives together. He died in his Anderson Island home holding hands with his love at their magic place. John is survived by his wife (Cookie) JoEllen Nelson and many relatives and friends who all loved him. He was one of a kind and will be forever missed.
