John "Joe" Henry Moore, Jr. August 12, 1951 - April 27, 2008 John a devoted husband and father passed away peacefully at Franciscan Hospice House. He is survived by his loving wife Wanda, son Jonathan, brothers Alvin, TX; Wilbert, CA, Charles, Tacoma; Robert (Vickie), TN; sister Johnetta (Kenneth), MS; mother-in-law Mrs. Shirley Allen, sister-in-law Sandra (Kevin), MD; godchild, Dana Jackson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. John was a great conversationalist stemming from his profound love for people, especially his interest in helping children. He was employed for 27 years at Remann Hall Juvenile Court. A Celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at St. John Baptist Church 2001 South "J" Street, Tacoma, WA. at 11:00am. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rainier Pacific Bank, Attn: Sheila Winston, 4704 Bridgeport Way West, University Place, WA. 98466 to assist with Jonathan Moore's College Education or Greater Tacoma Community Foundation - Children's Fund P.O.
