John Joseph Samples' Obituary
Samples, John Joseph 3/ 7/67 - 12/14/03John was born at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, WA. He attended Medical Lake Middle School in Spokane and graduated from Livingston High School in 1985 after relocating to California in 1980. John moved to Tacoma in 1990, where he was working various jobs and was a member of the Longshoreman's Union. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eilleene and Clyde Carroll, and cousin, John Albers. He is survived by his mother, Deborah (Lorrin) Barton-Housh; father, Cecil (Vicki) Samples; grandparents, Harold and Gertrude Barton; godparents, Pat and Paul Kuchenmeister; three aunts, Cynthia, Brenda, Kathleen; and grandaunt, Lorraine. He will be dearly missed by many for his generous spirit and good heart. Visitation will be from 12 PM until 9 PM, Sunday, December 21st at Mt. View Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11 AM, Monday, December 22, 2003 at Visitation Catholic Church, 3314 S 58th St., Tacoma.
