John James Gjuka's Obituary
John J. Gjuka Age 86, passed away peacefully in his home in Yuma, AZ on July 16, 2008. John retired from the Milwaukee Railroad after 40 years as a senior locomotive engineer. John was very active in the Masonic Lodge and several other Masonic organizations in both Tacoma and Yuma AZ; he was Past Master of Fern Hill Lodge and Past Patron of Ivy Chapter Eastern Star in Tacoma. John was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Florence. He is survived by his daughter Anne Harrison of San Antonio, TX; son John Paul, grandson Joel, great-grandsons Holden and Rhett, all of Tacoma; and granddaughter Victoria Schraml of San Antonio, TX. John never met a stranger and was beloved by all who knew him; he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shrine Transportation Fund, c/o Foothills Shrine Club, P.O. Box 25814, Yuma, AZ 85367, or The Helping Hands of Yuma, P.O. Box 25043, Yuma, AZ 85367. Services will be held in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 3:00pm.
