John and my past go back many years working in the Quality Assurance field. Throughout those years we identified and solved many quality challenges. I worked on the supplier side and John often was on the compliance side of our business. I fondly remember his fairness, cooperation, kindness and willingness to achieve results that supported both sides. My heart goes out to his family, and I send all my love for the future. He was respected for the person he was.

I met John in the early 1990s when our CMC Quality team hired him as an inspector. He proved to be a knowledgeable and hardworking employee. Over time we got to know each other since we both worked in the same organization. He was friendly, which I appreciated, but he impressed me with how sharp he was. Years later, after he left Boeing for the FAA, I had the privilege of working with him again. He was the same sharp and amiable person who took his job seriously. I’ll never forget John. My condolences go to his wife, his family and his close friends. He was a special person. I pray your grief heals quickly.

I met John when I came to the Boeing CMO in 2019. He was always helpful, friendly and always available if you needed some information. We shared a lot of stories about our treatments, comparing the differences and the outcomes of them and leaning on one another for support. He always said to me, I was such a strong person and he looked up to me and how I handled it. He was the strong one! Never complained, worked hard up until the day, he was chosen to start his new journey. He will be missed by me and so many others. He was and is an incredible individual. Rest in peace John. Until we meet again. Christine Snyder
John blessed my life. Always fun to talk to him. I enjoyed our lunches and breakfast meetings. He was so helpful as a friend and always caring and friendly to my son. He was an example of discipline, achievement and being self directed. John, you will be missed from my life. Thanks for being a part of it and making a difference. Blessings to your family.. I will truly miss you..
I first met John about 12 years ago, at a martial arts seminar he was hosting. He first introduced me to BJJ, and I remember his and his wife's kindness distinctly. It was always difficult being at seminars as a teenaged girl with (usually) only adult men to train with, but John would always make sure I felt comfortable and safe, and would volunteer to be my training partner when no one else would. He taught me how to do an arm bar, and was the only person I ever trained with who could effectively do one on me due to my double jointed elbows. I remember chatting with his wife during water breaks and playing with their little dog. I remember him as a friend; as one of the good ones. Rest in peace, Sensei.
I am honored to have known John, he was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. I met John in 1996 when he worked for the Boeing Company as an inspector. He has been a great friend and teammate since. Someone so special can never be forgotten. With love and condolences, my prayers go out to his family.

Got to know John in a short time and never met him face to face except on Ms.Team but he was a great mentor and always trying to pass his ASI experiences down to the next generation with passion and energetic. He was a strongest mental minded person that I ever met and never know that he was in a battle stage through his sickness during the time. He will be truly missed by me and the rest of Boeing CMO Team.
Rest in Peace John,
