John, 78, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2005 in Tacoma, WA. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during WWII and Korea.John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn; two daughters, Marilyn and Amy; one son, John, and four grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 17 at Hope Lutheran Church, 7209 South Puget Sound Ave.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.
