John was the first in his family to graduate from college. He worked at Western State Hospital for 25 years as a therapist for the criminally insane and proudly retired at the age of 55. John was a family man. He married the love of his life, Alice Frances Scott, January 27, 1960 in Tacoma. They celebrated 52 years of marriage days before his death. He was a loving husband and devoted father. He was an optimist who made people think and laugh. And he LOVED great food. John Taylor lived... and enthusiastically inspired his family to do the same.
