John, 91, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2005 in University Place, WA. He was born February 25, 1913 in Braddock, ND, served his country in the United States Navy during WWII, and retired from ASRCO in 1978. John is survived by his son Jim (Millie) Schaefer, sisters Alma (George) Hammond and Millie Gross, 3 granddaughters, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma, son John Jr., and grandson John Schaefer.A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 21 in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
