John Randall Evans' Obituary
John Randall Evans was born Feb. 24th, 1945 in Memphis TN. At the age of 76 John stepped into eternity to be with his Lord on Sept. 01, 2021.
As the son of US Air Force parents, John travelled throughout his life. His parents, LTC John Jay Evans and Evelyn Martin Evans, preceded him in death. Even though he had a passion to travel, he was sad to leave his friends behind with each subsequent move. He changed schools 14 times prior to his graduation from high school.
John later joined the US Air Force and was stationed in Viet Nam.
His interests and hobbies were varied. He loved his years in Boy Scouts working to earn badges and camping out. He had fond memories of his Dad working along with him.
His hobby of collecting records grew to include all kinds of music. He left a huge collection of his beloved artists.
John was known by nicknames, Little Johnnie and Bubba.
John is survived by his brother, Mark Cameron Evans (Karen) and sister, Helen Merle Williams (Duane) . He is also survived by four nephews, Alan, Greg, Darren, and Eric.
John's family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Northwest Retirement Home where John resided. They were part of his family throughout much of his life.
A celebration of life will be held with family.
Please honor the life and memory of John by leaving cherished memories, messages, and photos for his family on the guestbook page.
