I missed him when he moved back to California but was so glad he was able to live his final years close to Mark and Sandi and Brad and Mary. I miss them both but so glad they are together again. John and Glory brought me into their arms like a long-lost daughter when I first met Brad. Their love was strong and they showed their sons how to love. I thank John and Gloria for the love they gave me, and for their son Brad, whom they shared with me. I still miss Gloria, and now I will miss John too, but at least they are together now. Please accept my condolences for losing your dad (and mom). He was a wonderful, sweet person- they both were. John and Glory (and great-aunt Winnie) were so kind to me and my daughter, Sarah, many years ago. She called him Grandpa John and Glory was Grandma Glory. They were good people and fun to be around. I wish I had kept in better touch with them when I could. I will remember them both with much love. We remember our good times with John and Gloria, and our sorrow when John left this area after his loss of Gloria. Esther was friends with John and Gloria since 1947, and they supported her through the long illness of her first husband Wendell Parks, and his death in 1990.
