John Eric Iverson
10/9/67 -" 8/23/11
John passed away on August 23, 2011 at the age of 43. He was born and raised in the Tacoma area. He graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1986. He was a star athlete in wrestling and football. He attended two years at Yakima Community College, where he played football.
John loved fishing. Any free time he had, you could find him fishing for salmon, trout, or bass. He also liked camping up at Skate Creek.
John is survived by his mother, Priscilla Iverson; his father, Jack Iverson; his sister, Cathy, his son, Brandon, and many family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Oct. 1, 2011 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
