John D. IrwinJohn Irwin, born January 17, 1916 in Lincoln, IL, passed away Saturday December 14, 2002, in Tacoma, WA, at the age of 86.He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting, farming, quarter horses, dogs, mowing the grass and family. John was a graduate of Lincoln High School, a charter member of NECA, a life member of the Tacoma Elks, a past member of Kiwanis, and former owner of Washington Electric. John was preceded in death by his son Brian in 1991, his wife and dancing partner Iris in 1998 and sister Virginia Marrow. Survivors include his children Jerry (Gail) Irwin, John Irwin, and Cheryl Hunt, 7 grandchildren Sheryl (Chuck), John, Jerry, Adam, Natalie, and Jeanette, and niece Judy Mazion.Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday December 20, 2002 in the Mt.View Valley Chapel.
