John H. Castillo's Obituary
Was born on November 15, 1928 to Juan and Esther Castillo of Hanakaa, Hawaii and passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ. John graduated from Farrington High School in 1946 in Honolulu. In 1947 he joined the Army and proudly served his country for 20 years. He served in Europe, Vietnam and Korean wars retiring in 1967.
John began a new career with the Clover Park School District as warehouseman for the Food Service Department retiring after 21 years in 1990. It was there he met and married Mary Ann Flint, the Sunshine of his life. John is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Walker in Hawaii and many nieces and nephews. He leaves a daughter Janet and a son Steve, Sept-children, Robert (Sam) Flint (Kathy), Sheryl Reece (Roger) of Arizona and Deborah Davies (Duane) of Virginia. He has been blessed with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. John is an avid Seahawk and Mariner’s fan. He loved the Lord and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Lakewood for many years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
