John Ezra "Jack" Brown's Obituary
Jack Brown was born May 2, 1946 at his grandmother Noble's home in Guttenburg, Iowa, to John and Ella Brown.
Survived by wife, Carolyn, married July 13, 1968; son, Jamey (and friend Debbie Leighton). Sisters, Judy (Ronald) Benzing and Jannette (Rick) Snitker, brothers, Jerry (Celia) Brown and Joel (Jeanne) Brown all residing in Iowa. Plus may other family and friends, near and far.
Jack was a Navy veteran (1964-1968) serving as a boiler-tender on the USS Nicholas in Vietnam. Upon his discharge, returned to Iowa, married Carolyn and set out cross country to Tacoma, Washington. He worked as a cabinetmaker for 43 years. He had several hobbies - hunting, fishing, black powder shooting, gold prospecting, rock hounding, woodcarving, jewelry making and puzzles.
