John Leroy Berger
John 86 years passed peacefully on November 11, 2021 in N.E. Tacoma, WA with his family by his side.
John was born to Anna and Stanley Berger on April 30th, 1935 in North Dakota
Later, in life the family moved to Yakima, WA where he meet his forever love at the locate movie theater, he married Connie Ruth Lamb on September 1, 1956, they later had three children, John, Sandy, and Sue.
John served in the United States Marine Corps, he also spent some time in Korea.
His work trade was Fiberglass, and eventually retired from Modutech Marine in Tacoma
If John wasn’t at the Casino, or playing Bingo he was enjoying a Mariners, or Seahawks ball game!
John is survived by his 2 children Sue Pierce, John Berger (Jodi), brother Ted Berger (Joan), Jerry Berger, Gene Berger, and Leona Berger
He’s also survived by 5 wonderful grandchildren: David Johnson, Randy Berger, Jason Johnson (Christina), David Pierce JR. and Nichols Berger (Stephanie)
9 beautiful/ handsome greatgrandchildren, Kyle Berger, Anna Berger, Jayden Johnson, Kaydence Johnson, Patricia Johnson, Julia Berger, Twin baby girls Mila & Myla Pierce. Arianna Elizabeth.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Connie, grandson Adam Berger, daughter Sandy Johnson, his brother Nick Berger, Adolf Berger, Eleanor Berger, and Richard Berger, and Ed Berger.
Per Johns request there will be no memorial service.
