I was a friend of Johann's, thru Leigh Valentine. We enjoyed a lot of laughter and hanging out together. :) Yo always had a smile at the ready, was always willing to lend a hand and help out. He was one of the good ones. I'm so sorry for your loss! He will be missed.
Very sorry to hear about Johann's passing. He was part of the great group that I attended SIFF with every year during the 90's. He was funny and charming enough to be cast in Washington State Lottery commercial around that time. Deepest condolences to his family and friends. I wish I could've made it up to Washington state this weekend for the service.
He has always been a part of our family and our life! No matter what we were doing (unless it was tax season) we could count on our witty, silly, and sometimes cranky Jo to be there with his checkerboard Vans on. My life without you Mr. Jo will not be the same…I will forever keep “Hey Boo Boo” tucked away for the days I need a smile.
