Joe Carmignani's Obituary
Joseph “Joe” Carmignani, 76 of Roy, Washington passed away on June 4, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. Born in Tacoma to Joseph and Eva (Nomellini) Carmignani, he was a retired journeyman in the Sheetmetal Industry as a long-standing member of Local 66.
Joe lived his life “his” way. He was known for a tough exterior but to those close to him as a loving role-model especially when it came to his grandkids. He had a special bond with his siblings and enjoyed their lunch dates and time spent together. He loved to go to the casino, tinker in his garage, ride horses, and hunt in Eastern Washington with family. Him and Betty made many lifelong friends, that became family, in the Roy community and often could be found sharing a beer or riding horses with friends on the reservation. He fought a very long and hard medical battle but said goodbye to us on his terms.
Joe crossed over to be reunited with his beloved wife Betty and grandson Khyle. He is survived by Daughters Jodi Carmignani (David) and Michelle Kennedy (Chuck), Brother Tom Carmignani (Carol) and Sister Gloria Breslin (Richard), his Grandkids; Sean, Jeremy, Hailee, Isaiah & Chloe, 4 great-grand babies, In-laws Bill (Marilyn) and Roger (Pat) Bransteitter, Illene (Rich) Willyerd, and many nieces and nephews.
