Aunt Joannie is remembered for her generous smile, easy laughter, gentleness, and sweetness. She set a wonderful example for her children and grandchildren to follow. She was truly a very special lady.

My sympathy goes out to all of you. I have so many memories of your mom. She was my second mother. She taught me that real food doesn't come out of a can. And a home cooked meal needs meat and vegetables with a salad. I am glad that she was a part of my life growing up. I might not be the person I am today. She always seemed to include me in the family outings. I felt like I was part Eager and Phillips. I will miss her smile, silly laugh and since of humor. Kathy Riley
