Lynn Percich
The Jan I remember was always full of fun and smiling. She took care of all her aunties, took them shopping and took them to the cemetery to visit with their loved ones. She visited her family and friends who were residing in nursing homes. She would bring pictures of animals or wonderful peaceful scenes to hang on the walls near their beds. She did this for her cousin Jim and always brought a smile to his face when she arrived saying "Hi Cuz"! Jan took me to her Navy Nurse Museum to see all the memorabilia of nursing and WWII. At that time she was researching the history of the Nurses Cadet Corp,which I was a member of, and I was able to share what articles I had saved from that era of WWII. Jan was a very loving and giving person and she will be greatly missed by me.
