Joan (Hystad) Mathison
1934 – 2014
Joan 79, born in Tacoma, WA. August 2, 1934 passed away peacefully on May 27, 2014 after a long illness.
The oldest of five siblings, Joan graduated from Lincoln High school and attended the University of Puget Sound. After retiring from the Bank of America, her passion for life was reflected through her travels, time spend with her family and her rose garden that was admired by all.
Joan is survived by sons Kevin Hrvatin (Joanne), Ross Mathison, daughters Terry Hrvatin, Julie Crocco (PJ), seven grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and her brother Gordy (Kathleen) Hystad.
The family sends a special thank you to Hospice for their support and care. Per her request, a private memorial will be held.
