Joan L. Joyner's Obituary
Born July 13, 1930 to Hazel and Robert Stant in La Grande, OR, passed away April 28, 2006 in Fox Island, WA, where she was a resident for 36 years. Married James Joyner on September 25, 1947. She worked for Pioneer Business Forms for 30 plus years. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years James Joyner and parents, Hazel and Robert Stant. She is survived by her sister Leone (Joe) Bocanegra, daughters Sherri (Rich) Lange, Kim Hayes and Alice Barnes, grandson Rick (Wendy) Terry of CA, nephews Robert (Romona) Welch, Mitch (Samie) Turner and daughters Asia and Mae, and Gene (Chantel) Welch, and three great-grandchildren Evan, Eric and Quaye.Special thanks to Franciscan Hospice (Tracy Mac Neal), Quality Sitters, and Maxim Healthcare.Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2006 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice, PO Box 1502, Tacoma, WA.
