Joan E. T. Cushnyr's Obituary
Joan was born in Tacoma, on June 6, 1918. She attended Lincoln H.S., graduating in 1935. She worked at the Civilian Personnel office at McChord AFB for 35 years, where she met her husband of 50 years, Raymond. They were blessed with 2 sons, Gerald of Tacoma and Jeffrey of Olalla. They were members of The Day Island Yacht Club, where Raymond was Commodore. They were also members of the Tacoma Elks Club #174. She lived a wonderful long life filled with love, laughter and friends. She enjoyed traveling the U.S. to visit family. Graveside services will be held October 13, 2010, 1:30 at Mt. View Funeral Home, Lakewood.
