I will always remember her taking me under her wing taking care of me at the mobile home park. I loved her as a friend and she was kind of like a second mother to me. I am so sorry for your loss and will think of all the times she made me smile. Renee I love you like a sister and you should call me anytime to tell me if you need anything if nothing else to remember and smile at the good times we had with your mom
Joan was like another mother to me growing up. She had every reason to chase us girls with her slipper... My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. She is at peace now and an angel to watch over them. Love you guys, Tammy Crutchfield
Joan was a very special friend, will miss our Summer get togethers out on the patio, loved her dearly, she was one of a kind, will still have her daughter to love.
Joan and I became friends through a mutual interest in collectibles. I also drove out to help her periodically with her computer. She was a fascinating person, very kind, and close to her family. Joan was actually living in Pearl Harbor as a child during the attack by the Japanese. I am going to miss her communication...we did our fair share of trading jokes in email:-) Many condolences to the family. Susan Kemp,
