Joan Kathleen Blondin, a lifelong resident of Tacoma, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born on July 25, 1947, in Tacoma, Joan lived a vibrant and spirited life. She worked as a cosmetologist, bringing beauty and confidence to those she served, and also as a bartender, where her warmth and wit made her a beloved presence to many.
She is survived by her significant other, Merrill Sewer, who stood by her side with love and devotion.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be scheduled soon, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the joy she brought into their lives.
Joan’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
