Jesus was born Jan. 07, 1921 in Naranjito, Puerto Rico. He joined the U.S. Army at age 18, became a Paratrooper, and retired after 28 years of military service. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Paulette, daughter Monique Del Read Obituary

We were so sorry to read about Sandy passing. It did bring back some wonderful stories and laughs about the Army and life in the messhall on Fort Lewis.
Of course our fondest memories are of the week we stayed with you before we got married (1962), and how wonderful you both were to us.
