On Thursday, March 19th, we suddenly and very unexpectedly lost Jesse Friedley. After a long and very hidden battle with depression and alcohol, Jesse felt his issues were too much of a burden for him or his family to carry, and he made a very regrettable decision to end his life.
Jesse was a single father to an amazing young angel, Gabriel, who misses his father incredibly. Jesse was also a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many as well as an Army Veteran. He will be loved forever and deeply missed by those of us devastatingly left behind. Our lives were made better by having him with us.
Jesse was born in Bremerton, Washington on August 30, 1984 at Bremerton Naval Hospital. We were blessed for 30 years with this amazing, giving and loving young man.
Jesse is survived by his Mother, Sherrie Strom; Brother, Robert Collins; his Son, Gabriel Friedley; Nephew, Marcus Collins; Step Father, Duane Strom; Father, Stephen Friedley and his Aunts, Eileen Collins & Kathy Prybylski.
Jesse’s Memorial Service will be held on April 11, 2015 at 1:00pm, located at Christian Faith Center, 33645 – 20th Avenue, Federal Way, Washington.
