Jesse C. Caraan's Obituary
Jesse Conde Caraan, 78, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on June 22, 2025. A beloved father, proud car enthusiast, and unforgettable character, Jesse was known by all who loved him as a hardworking and tough-as-nails man with a sharp memory and a sharp tongue. He took pride in giving people a hard time — always with a grin — and could recount details from decades ago with clarity that amazed everyone around him. Jesse spent many years working in Alaska at a fish warehouse, later continuing his dedication and work ethic at Nalley’s chip factory. No matter the job, he believed in making an honest living and providing for his family. He was, without a doubt, number one in his own unique way. Jesse was the proud father of three children: Marcus, Jonathan, and Rochelle, who will carry his spirit, stories, and strength forward. He was a true car lover, especially proud of his two Corvettes, though nothing topped his all-time favorite — the 1968 Oldsmobile 442 W-30. At home, Jesse loved watching WWE wrestling, Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right, and yelling at the TV as if the contestants (and referees) could hear him. It was just one of the many things that made him a force of nature in the best way. Jesse’s legacy is one of hard work, strong will, and unforgettable personality. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
