Jerry Quincey Perry's Obituary
Rev. Jerry Quincy Perry "Root" passed away peacefully in his sleep on Feb. 23, 2010 at Park Rose Nursing Care Center. He was a Preacher, and educator and retired Army Sgt., and he was the grandson of the "Sleeping Preacher from S.C.", who could only preach while sleeping. He leaves behind many relatives, family and friends. Viewing will be Friday, March 5 from 2pm to 9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. Services will be held Saturday, March 6 at 11am at St. John Church, 2001 S. J St., Tacoma, WA 98405.
