Jerry Thomas Hanson Sr.
Jerry Thomas Hanson Sr., USA RET. passed away on April 6, 2012. Born in Minnewauken, N.D. on March 27, 1936 to Esther Hanson. The family moved to Bozeman, MT when he was 5. He joined the Army and served for 25 years, obtaining the rank of CSM., retired in 1979. Went to work for Worldwide Movers for 20 years before retiring again in 1996. Jerry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joanne, his son Jerry Jr and wife Edgie, sisters Joyce Siegfried (Rod) and LaVonne Horsford (Earl), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. He was a avid sports watcher and loved golf and bowling until illness took over. He was so proud of his son Jerry Jr. and he loved us so very much. We will have a huge hole in our hearts without him. At his request, there will be no funeral services. He will be buried at Mountain View in our family plot.
