Jerry and I met on his porch with a friend of mine Stephen I did not know who he was and he was playing his guitar and I said wow you’re good. You could make money doing that and my friend Steve laughed and said do you know who you’re talking to we stay friends, for a long time he came to my house for Thanksgiving one year and played his guitar. I’ll never forget him for that.
The first time we met Mr Jerry Miller was quite a few years ago. He rode his bike 3 blocks to our house to deliver a piece of mail, dropped in his mailbox in error. We had the same house number & depending on whether our carrier was paying attention or not, one of us was 2nd string delivery person. More often it was Jerry. With a smile, he acted as if he didn't seem to mind.

As a student nurse @ Tacoma General I spent months working in the operating room. Jerry ran the place literally. He was loved by all and I never saw anyone who could accomplish what he could. He named me "Beetle" and I had that name for the remainder of my days as a student nurse. Sorry to hear of his passing. This world has lost a great ambassador. Karen McCoy
Jerry was a bigger than life character. He was funny, gregarious, and talented. I once took my Mom to his house to listen to his accordian music. That was a very special day. He was so kind and welcoming. I will remember him fondly.
