Carol and I were taken back by the lost you have suffered in the early departure of your loving husand Jerry Harris. I remember the first meeting with you and Jerry. Carol and I were in Reno, she insisted I meet with you and Jerry she said you were kindness and greatest couple I would ever meet. I am not that out going, so to please my wife I said sure. I am very thankfull that I listened to her. Jerry seemed so genuine and extremely happy in life, he had such a calming presence about him. We attribute that directly to you for making his life complete. I had the opportunity on two other occasions to meet Jerry, it was at our daughter's weddings. His presence and kindness were greatly appreciated by Carol and me. Carol will greatly miss Jerry's joking manner, smiling face and kind words, he made her feel so good. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. We want to thank you for sharing him with us, and offer you our sincere condolences. Dear Gwendolyn,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am also shocked that I won't see Mr. Harris anymore. I am one of the Hyperbaric Medical Unit nurses that treated Jerry. We can't understand what could have happened to him between his last hyperbaric treatment on Thurs, April 6 and Fri April 7 that could have caused him to expire. I remember he was so happy he was going to finally get the "peg tube" out on Fri. morning and then was going to join you and other family members at your condo in Puerto Vallarta. If you don't mind contacting Heidi or myself at Hyperbaric Medicine when it is convenient for you, we would really appreciate learning what happened.
I feel so sad and miss his sweet demeanor. God bless you all in this time of loss of such a great man amongst men.

Although I only met Jerry a few times, I was struck by his genuine warmth and kindness. I care so much for you and your whole family and I am so sorry that Jerry was called home to Heaven so quickly.
