Jerome "Jerry' Phillip Rodefer Sr.'s Obituary
Jerome “Jerry” Phillip Rodefer Sr. passed away peacefully at Madigan Army Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on January 25th, 2022.
He was the 5th child born to Douglas and Vivian Rodefer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He lived to be 71 years old. He is a proud disabled veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his 2 children-Vivian (Kyoung) and Jerry Jr; grandchildren Jahena, JaeSun, and Trinity No; his brother, Jim (Brenda) and Wayne’s wife Tillie as well as numerous cherished nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Mal Sun, his brothers and their wives- Douglas (Marlene), Carl (Nola), and Wayne.
His hobbies were fishing, squidding, crabbing and making some of the best BBQ ribs and steak on his smoker. His BBQ and baking prowess will be missed by neighbors, friends, and family. He had a generous heart that he shared with many people. He spent his life providing and protecting his family. He was a true family man. No one could have loved their family more. He will be remembered by all as having the biggest, most generous heart. He loved being a member of Tacoma Christian Reformed Church Paul Men’s group, and Milal Mission of Seattle.

He supported these groups and received support from these groups for his son and daughter.
